Choosing a counselor is deeply personal. You may be wondering if I'm someone you can talk to openly and feel acknowledged and understood.
I'm Joly Kettles, a licensed counselor in Oklahoma, and I work primarily with women who are carrying a lot on the inside -- often appearing "fine" on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally worn down. Together, we'll work at your pace to help you move forward toward greater peace, resilence, and fulfillment.
My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Counseling with me is not about fixing you -- it's about creating a safe space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.
Sessions are paced with care, honoring your nervous system and your personal history. We focus on increasing emotional awareness, building steadier boundaries, and helping you feel more secure in your relationships and in yourself.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma. My training and 15 years of clinical experience includes anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and women's mental health across the lifespan.
I am committed to ongoing education and ethical, compassionate care.
Clients often share that they feel:
Emotionally safe not not judged
Gently challenged without pressure
Heard, acknowledged, and understood
More grounded and confident over time
You don't have to have the "right words" here. We find them together.
I offer:
Secure telehealth counseling for women across Oklahoma
In-person sessions in a calm, private office setting
Support groups
If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, I invite you to schedule a free consultation. This is a chance to ask questions, share what's bringing you in, and see how counseling with me might feel.
Emotional safety comes from being listened to without judgment and moving at a pace that feels right for you. Sessions are collaborative, and you are always in control of what you choose to share.
I became a counselor because I've seen how powerful it is when someone is finally heard without judgment. Many people function well on the outside while carrying years of unspoken stress, grief, or emotional exhaustion. My work is about creating a steady, safe space where real change can happen--at your pace, and on your terms.
Counseling can be short-term or longer-term depending on your goals and needs. Some clients come for focused support during a specific transition, while others value ongoing therapy as a consistent source of support.
